Just a stones throw from London and accessible by train, the Spring retreat takes place at Lingfield, Surrey. A weekend of total harp immersion awaits with friendly tutors, delicious meals, inspiring concerts and peaceful surroundings.

The Spring retreat is for adult pedal and non pedal harpists of all abilities and takes place at a Victorian retreat centre in Lingfield, Surrey.

The weekend is hosted by Keziah Thomas alongside Alexander Rider and Anna Dunwoodie who will lead classes and workshops which concentrate on ensemble playing, improvisation and performance. There will also be a concert given by the tutors a musical party and plenty of time for private practise…or socialising!

Accommodation

Claridge House has 12 single, twin and double bedrooms with Wifi and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a discount for those participants who are happy to share a twin room. The venue serves delicious vegetarian home cooked meals and is surrounded by peaceful woodland.

Cost

Participant (solo occupancy bedroom): £385

Participant (sharing a twin room): £300

Non participating guest (sharing a room with a participant including meals, party and concert entry): £220

Practicalities

Participants are expected to bring their own harp, stool, music stand and tuner. There are a limited number of harps supplied by Pilgrim Harps available to borrow on a first come first served basis.

The course runs from 3pm on Friday 29th March to 2pm on Sunday 31st March 2019
